Some Things to Check |
 |
|
Microsoft patch |
|
If you have service pack 2 installed on a connecting PC, please see http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884020 for a required
patch.

Target PC Checklist |
-
System Standby mode is not enabled - if you are finding your PC
is never available when you attempt to connect, it is possible that it is going
in to System Standby mode which closes network connections.
-
Remote Desktop enabled - in the Control Panel, System Properties,
Remote tab, ensure "Allow users to connect..." option in the "Remote Desktop" group
is enabled.
-
Server Service is running - using the console (see Local Services),
ensure that the Server Service is running on the target PC. For PMG Connect
service target PCs, check that it has successfully connected to the PMG Connect
server by refreshing the PC list and confirming that it is showing as available.

Connect Back
|
|
There's a lot that can go wrong with Connect Back. If you are having trouble connecting
and you have got Connect Back enabled, try disabling it before connecting. If the
target PC you are trying to connect to has Connect Back enabled, the feature can
be disabled by checking "Override remote Connect Back setting" on the "Connect Back"
tab of the options dialog.
